State-Wide Insurance Company was originally incorporated under the name Truckmen’s Insurance Company, opening its doors for business on October 1, 1954 in Manhattan, New York. Now located in Hempstead, New York the company’s present name, State-Wide Insurance Company, was adopted in September 1956.
Over the years, State-Wide Insurance Company has become know as one of the top auto insurance companies within the state of New York and is rated “A+” (Superior) by A.M. Best... one of the oldest and most reputable insurance company rating organizations in the world.
